pub struct LoadingIndicator { /* private fields */ }Expand description
M3 Expressive loading indicator.
Indeterminate by default: it morphs through LoadingShape::SEQUENCE
on the reference’s spring while rotating. Self::progress makes it
determinate (a circle growing into a soft burst). Reduced motion holds
the first frame. The caller supplies the accessible label.
Implementations§
Source§impl LoadingIndicator
impl LoadingIndicator
pub fn new(id: impl Into<ElementId>, label: impl Into<SharedString>) -> Self
Sourcepub fn contained(self, contained: bool) -> Self
pub fn contained(self, contained: bool) -> Self
Show the round primary-container container behind the shape.
Sourcepub fn size(self, size: f32) -> Self
pub fn size(self, size: f32) -> Self
The container’s size in design px (48 by default); the shape scales with it.
Sourcepub fn progress(self, progress: Option<f32>) -> Self
pub fn progress(self, progress: Option<f32>) -> Self
A measured fraction (0-1), or None for indeterminate.
Sourcepub fn turn(self, degrees: f32) -> Self
pub fn turn(self, degrees: f32) -> Self
An extra turn of a measured indicator, in degrees: pull to refresh turns it back past the threshold. A non-finite turn is ignored.
Sourcepub fn shape(self, shape: LoadingShape) -> Self
pub fn shape(self, shape: LoadingShape) -> Self
A specimen: hold one shape, without animating.
Sourcepub fn playback(self, playback: RepeatAnimationPlayback) -> Self
pub fn playback(self, playback: RepeatAnimationPlayback) -> Self
A caller-owned clock that survives virtual unmounting. This is the indicator’s one use of the vendored engine’s repeat-playback patch, kept for callers that pass it: without it the indicator runs on GPUI’s stock repeating animation, restarting if it unmounts.
